Hello, I'm Veronica, and I'm running for Harris Township Trustee.
Most people know very little about Township government. In Harris especially, our Township leaders have been quiet and inaccessible for decades while they spend taxpayer money and earn government salaries. I'm running for Harris Township Trustee to make our township vibrant, creative, accessible and transparent. I'm running alongside three committed Granger residents: Ryan Callahan, Sharon Brinker and Jake Baska. Together we will work towards a New Era for Harris Township!

What do townships do?
Township Government is broadly responsible for "emergency services," which cover everything from Fire Services to Economic Relief. Maintaining excellent fire service and distributing aid to neighbors struggling to pay rent or utilitites will be top priorities for our team. However, much more is possible for township government, particualry for Harris, because there is no municipal (city) level of government for Harris Township. With Creativity and Commitment, our team plans to make Harris Township Government a center for innovation and collaboration.
